Administration Presents New Budget Plan

Bellarmine's new budget plan will revolutionize the school, administrators say. With less student enrollment, Bellarmine will lay off more faculty members at the end of the 2017 school year. "After careful thought and contemplation, we have decided to lay off only our finest instructors," Bellarmine's Principal announced to the board of trustees who nodded approvingly. She hopes that by terminating only those who most embody the Jesuit mission will bring about a much needed change to the Bellarmine community.

A representative for administration informed The Hyena that the new budget plan will inspire unity throughout the community as faculty and students will come together in protest of these changes. With enrollment expected to fall even lower in the coming years, administration plans to lay off more valuable teachers and have high hopes that this will successfully restore unity within the community, though regrettably doing nothing to solve the perspective student crisis. "We had our sights set on Father Jerry before we were told that Jesuits don't really get paid. What a missed opportunity," Davis said later in the board meeting. No word yet on which faculty member will be the next martyr for this noble cause.
